Winter flicked its tail again yesterday with a drizzly, cold day on Goat Hill in Nelson. Turned a fun track that had dried well over the week into an even more fun track that had riders spearing off in all directions, hitting greasy forest snakes and wicked off camber lines. Nick and Tim Bygate showed committment plus, racing the morning's club XC race and then getting their gravity goggles on for the afternoon. Josh Miller got phsyced and cleaned everybody out with a stylish display of tree dodging, and everybody who competed got a good reminder of how much benefit a track like this, and in these sort of conditions can be to bike handling skills.
