So where did this track end up being built? I heard their first choice fell through?

Started at the top of summer hill farm, and wound down through a pine plantation on land that was owned by the quarry next to it.

Yeah it started at the start of Sram trail at Summerhill, but hooked left through a gap in the fence into neighbours private land, and more or less followed the hill straight down to Welcome Bay Rd. Had around 200m elevation. The track had loads of very good features in it, and was really accerssible to spectators. Seems such a shame that it wont be able to be used full time. There is a rumour that it might open once a month to be ridden, but I dont know if there is any real confirmation of that.
Mostly went through Pine forest, infact was under the trees the whole way except for the couple of jumps at the end of the course, and about halfway down another 2 jumps.
They only started building this at the start of January.
