Sorry to hear about the drama Dougal.
But the question must be asked... Where they really there to steal the Turner?

Yeah, whatt happened to the bikes? Untouched?

The police will always respond quickly when the offender has been spotted.... they love a good chase, punch up, and mauling by dogs. :satan:

See, I reckon that's BULLSHIT. If someone is in your house without due cause, they're fair fucking game as far as I'm concerned. :satan:

It is bullshit up to a point,if you smash the crap outa someone with a shovel you're in for it unless they had a weapon.
A mate of mine chased a couple of burglars in his car and laid one out with a spade, the police said if he'd hit the dude again he would have been up for assault with a deadly weapon, but luckily he managed to lower the red mist for a second and merely chased the other dude and treatened to smash him as well!

My respect for the police has increased since that porn thing - anyone who finds humerous photos of someone getting pissed on is O.K. by me  - I'd have even more respect if they didn't do it at work though - Retards :hmmm:

Burglaries aren't serious crimes though, if you were being raped or beaten up (by, say, the Mafia) then they'd have sent you a taxi or asked you to walk to the nearest police station - just to be on the safe side.

Well done Dougal. Did you take the time to explain the advantages of Manitou over Rockshox to the burglars? :eh:

 Good work that man.

I just think if you're willing to break the law in such an obvious way you have to be willing to take the consequences. Gee, I should be protected by the law while I'm breaking it in such an obvious manner? :hmmm:

I have a big stick for such an occasion. :satan: ;) :paranoid:

We live up heaps of stairs - similar to a Wellington house. So no one burglarises us because it take 24 minutes to stop puffing when you're at the top. They wouldn't be able to efficiently carry out a burg if they can't breathe...

Before Judge Mary O’Dwyer were Damien Gary White (22), unemployed, and Damien Wilson (24), factory hand.
Both were remanded without plea, White to May 13 and Wilson to Friday.
Bail was declined after opposition from prosecutor Senior Sergeant Steven Armitage.
Counsel representing the pair were Jim Takas (White) and Campbell Savage (Wilson).
White is further charged with possessing cannabis and possessing a cannabis smoking pipe, on Monday. On those charges he is also remanded without plea to May 13.

Is this them? :eh:

At work about a year ago a guy got caught with one of our laptops up his jumper. He pushed the old guy who disturbed him outta the way and did a runner.
Meanwhile the boys were in the smoko room playing pool, heard the commoton, chased the guy down the road.
Caught him, hauled him back to the factory, and administered a bit of street justice.

Cops turned up, took one look at the guy bleeding up the place, and say "Gidday Joe, looks like you've had a nasty fall son"

Wow. Where I live, the lowest severity crime that the police will respond to is agravated assault (i guess self defensing the tar out of a burglar would count :) ).

I have had break ins twice in the past 3 years and both times the police came round within 4 days to do the paperwork for my insurance.

Three bikes in the house, all untouched. You'd have to wonder if they'd still be there if they had another hour to sort and shift stuff.

Yep that's the court report. I'll be watching with great interest. The Damien White apparently lives a few hundred metres away and was on bail for burglary at the time.

Maybe I should borrow my brothers german shephard (police dog stock) and let them have another go when they're free.
It'd be great watching them bolt out the back door and into the jaws of a waiting dog. :satan:
