Hi Guys

Well today I experienced some of the best and the worst Rotorua has to offer .
After competing in a great NI cup XC final in the morning we left the car for about 20 mins from about 2pm to watch the next race and during this time someone has removed my precious
Trek from the car and taken off. So please if you see someone riding this bike in Rotorua or anywhere else please call the police

Differences from pic are
Schwalbe Racing Ralph UST rear tyre
Xt cassette and a Magnesium EVO Link (has Magnesium Written on it)

That sucks! not the first time bikes stolen off the car after a race at Rotorua! gotta take care.

Thats bad news but in reality heaps of bikes get stolen in NZ and then they just seem to dissapear off the face of this planet (aliens?). Very rarely do ypu ever hear aboutbikes being found or returned

We were told that there was alot of stolen goods being boxed up and shipped off to asia.........

In Japan the word for 'bike' is 'bukkake'. Try googling it, theres a fair bit of it going on I hear.

Far too smart for that, he gives the aproaching car a burst of speed.

Well. It took 6 months and a bit of luck but I got it back.
Turned up on Trademe last week, police went round and 'collected' it. Turns out he'd sold the wheels so they went and got those back as well. Didn't quite get to asia only Howick.

Big to the Taupo and Howick Police for sorting it out. Guy's been charged with recieving and the bikes pretty much like it was so i'm pretty stoked.
