Two NZ Teams Pursuit Records were obliterated on the final night of racing at the ILT velodrome in Invercargill. The New Zealand squad of Jesse Sergent, Sam Bewley, Westerly Gough and Peter Latham did a record attempt and lowered the previous best of 4.08 to 3.59.593.

In the Open Teams Pursuit Championship the Canterbury U19 team of Michael Vink, Josh Atkins, Ruaraidh McLeod and Chad Adair lowered the previous best U19 time of 4.24 to 4.17 and in the final went 4.13 to take the Open Gold medal despite losing Adair in the first 1000m.
