Recommend Me Some Gloves

Postby globe on Sun 20/Apr/14 6:18pm

In the market for a new pair of mtn gloves. Full fingered, mainly xc riding. Based in auckland so warmth not a huge factor.

Had a pair of fox machina and liked them but they seemed to wear out pretty quick. Did a quick search and a year or two ago favourite glove on here seemed to be Troy lee xc. This still the preferred choice or is there a new star on the block ?

Cheers

I really rate my Roi Leigh XCs.
I've heard people getting better value gloves from a moto shop but don't know if they come that thin.

I love my "mechanix" gloves ... You can get a variety from safetygear.co.nz They are not strictly biking gloves but mechanics gloves and do the job nicely, the impact 2 and originals are very comfortable.

Me too,and MUCH cheaper on Ebay than buying in nz. Think I paid $12 for the last pair.

I have some older series 661 Comp gloves - cant get them anymore, but super happy with them, comfortable, and no problems with stitching or anything. I'd get another pair of 661's in a hearbeat ...

Very happy with my POC gloves, nice fit and light feel. Would trade again. Actually thinking of getting another pair in a different colour. :D
