What about...
Turner Sultan 29r frame $1300 on trade me right now, with 27.5 Rabbit Hole rims & 3 inch tires???

Would that be Enduro?

Scott Genius 740 gets my vote and is well worth a look at.

I was skeptical about the Twin loc system, but use it heaps and with great effect. Switching easily from fully locked out to 100mm travel to 160mm travel it works a treat! add to that a good quality dropper post and it's a dream.

That was the first thing that a new bike had have.

Cheeky 2hr rides after work with no pack are great.

When I built a new bike last year the options were a bit limited compared to now.
I got down to burner, bronson and trance sx, I went with the burner because it was a little less common and the greasable pivots. I think the new norco bikes would be well up that list now.

Nout wrong with a Giant in my view, sure not the blingiest option but for something that I can thrash with impunity it looks a goer.

Alternative suggestions gratefully received though.

Possible downside on the Capra is the BOS suspention.
only one 'official' service centre listed in OZ and at service every 60hr @500AUD for F+R + freight 2 and from oz + 2-3 weeks waiting would be a pain

Is there anyone in NZ that has serviced these?

But but, its a Giant!! :butbut:

I knows they're pretty good value, haven't looked at the current model ones for specs. I know a couple of years ago they had weird random spec fails in places.

I would be going Norco for a new bike. (no surprises there!!) :D
