Rear Gear Hanger?????

Hi.
I just bust the hanger for my rear mec. Anyone know where I can get a small piece of aluminium that is not going to cost more than gold? I need a hanger for a 2005 Giant Trance (yes it is old but so am I). $50 seems a bit high.

You're after a #21 hanger. Wheels Manufacturing make one to suit. Or North Shore Billet make tougher-than-stock hangers too.

When I had trouble finding a der hanger for my Ventana, I used derailleurhanger.com. Not expensive and arrived within four days.

A Wheels MFG or Northshore Billet hanger will still cost you $40-50 just FYI

You could always get one from Ebay. I got one a while ago which was supposed to be temporary but never bothered replacing it because it works fine. Cost $6 or $7 dollars shipped.

Thanks folks. Local bike shop getting me one for $39 NZ. Will be here Wednesday. Need to ride asap so just have to go for it. Trying to save every penny so I can get a Canyon Nerve.
