Planet Cycles is close by in Mt Eden.
I'm from Welly, so I don't know what their service is like.

I'm not looking at selling it, just had a few people ask this question over the past few weeks. At the moment im happy with it sitting in the lounge, find it more interesting than whats on tv anyway haha.

Check Tardme... that aught to give you a reasonable idea of what it'd be worth. Beware that you'll never get back what you've spent on it.

Im fully aware i'll never get back what i've spent, was just curious as to what the figure might be. Im not going to sell it.

Pete has got a good team there, or Mt eden Cycles, lloyd is a good spanner, or if you head a bit closer to town, go and see Tim @ T-whites, especially for fixie stuff

Mate it looks awesome - wish I had seen this thread earlier! I am doing something eerily similar with an old saronni frame, apart from I am going to run drops.
My componentry is in a similar state to yours but a whole bunch of wet and dry should bring it all shiny again.

I have exactly the same bike that I bought for $90 in 1999. It is even the same colour scheme as your's had originally (except more rust). 2 bottom brackets, new rims, new chainrings and about 10 chains and sprockets retired from my MTB later, I still commute on it every day. It is flexy, heavy, dirty and handles terribly (loves to flop into corners), but at least it'll never get pinched and the tubes are so thick it probably wont rust out either.
