Yep thanks to the sponsors!
I wasn't there yesterday but I was mighty impressed at how much sponsors product the family scored.
I was quite amazed to see that my little bro took out the wheelie contest! I might have to turn up next year with my race bike and also with my jump bike to beat him.

I also heard that a lot of people thought the track was better than the Day night thriller which is saying something!

I'd second the feedback on the course, it really made the most of Pukete and on a par with the day night thriller, lots of variety, heaps of singletrack all good.

great marshalling on the day too - so a big thanks to all the organisers and those who volunteered on the day.

roll on 2009

The Day nighter track isn't as long either is it.

Need to have a serious dig day sometime soon to put some more interesting singletrack to make it even more fun. Maybe have 12/15 K instead of the 10.4 we have right now.
