Did my first hillclimb today (sealed). It was awesome! Average grip levels due to running street tyres, but still damn good fun. Some seriously powerful cars there, including Tony Lynch's always impressive 1UZ powered Chevette and a very unassuming Mirage Cyborg that was 265kW at all 4 wheels!

snap, hamilton car club had a hillclimb yesterday as well, down the south end of karapiro. , hence my [wrong] guess. I didn't go though as the car I spanner on wasn't running.

kind of, :p we are still in the build process. new engine/computer and a new wider rear. will be on the startline for the next event though.

An engine with a computer? thats a bit flash. I stopped trying to keep up when cars got over head cams.
