Ive never used the free-stroke adjustment on my XTs, im not sure if even does anything.. Do SLX stil have the lever position adjustment though?

Yes indeed.

They come with finned pads too, but they're the shitty resin ones.

Fair call - I had the 985s, and while I was most pleased with their performance, the SLX are far better. I haven't spent much time on 988s, so can't really comment on them.

Anyone know if it's possible to have ISCG tabs brazed to my steel hardtail and if so, who in Wellington can I trust to do a good job at said brazing?
