Failure Of New Zealand Herald Sports Reporters

Postby sprint supporter on Fri 30/Mar/12 6:49pm

How hard is it in this modern age, for the now "new sit in my office seat "sports reporters to actually report on the World Track Cycling Champs to be held shortly in Melbourne, JUST across the ditch? I read in the sports calendar, published in the supposed "New Zealand Herald" today, not one mention. but hey plenty of coverage for dirty match fixing cricket, soccer etc,
In this paper do you now need to bedirty, drug dependant, and corrupt, to actually have a chance to have more than a 2x2 inch write up!
Get off your f ing back sides and start doing your f ing jobs!!!!!!!

what I am saying here is that the lift out for jo public is actually missing one of the biggest showdowns pre london 2012 OLYMPICS, and there is no mention in the so called NEW ZEALAND herald (self proclaimed)!

come on get a reality check the whole world is going olympics mad and it hardly gets a mention here... NZ is not interested in what goes on in the rest of the world...

Oh and i think you'll find there are no Nz journalists most of the stuff in the papers is lifted

It's only been in print for 145 years partly because it's editors print relevant news.

Track cycling is irrelevant news

Track gets way more than it deserves - the filthy skinsuit wearers would get no coverage if it weren't an Olympic sport :D
