Fox Rlc Or Terralogic

Postby WayneG on Fri 4/Nov/11 10:02pm

Ok I'm about to buy a Fox Talas but can't decide which one is better, the RLC means I can lock it out when I want or leave it open but the TerraLogic will do it for me from what I understand and I don't have worry about forgetting to open it for the down hills. Has anyone ridden with both styles and which one do you like best and why? The TerraLogic is like a Specialised Brain from what I understand is it not?

Well i got a Lefty with Terralogic in it, and i found it to be really good for XC racing. Its got a function which allows you to tune it to how sensitive you want it to be. Only found that it can be a little unpredictable at times like if you are standing up to power up a climb and hit a bump then the fork will compress which can be a little un expected. Also on gravel roads where there is corrugation can not pick it up sometimes. But the fork remains very plush and smooth when it needs to be.

Best you demo one on the sort of terrain you ride most and go from there.

Mine is also 5 years old so id say Fox would have tested new things and changed bits and pieces to make it even better by now.
