I concur. That looks mean as.

I hate asking these kind of questions... but... what does that thing weigh?

I don't really care about weight, but that looks svelte.

You have that at the SSWC?
I seen one stopped had a wee dribble then stood for a little longer.

I had it at SSWC...... finished the build a couple of days before the Whaka..... had a little sift in Couger Park then gave it a 100km break in

I've binned my gears in favour of SS for winter this year. Got this thrown together last Thursday, and managed to get a ride in before hitting the NZSS race on the Saturday. Got my huck wheels fitted at the mo (ZTR hubs, Arch rims), but should have something a little racier turning up shortly.

It's heaps of fun...

My commuter is almost ready to go, I'm just waiting on a chain.

It's a mix of parts I had lying about, so including the paint, it's cost me under $100. It's near double the weight of the Parlee, but that's the idea.

My other singlespeed, the Soulcraft got new King Ti cages tonight, a new Blackspire ring, and is likely to get a Marzocchi 44 and new front hub shortly (15mm).

You've got a Colnago one inch fork just lying around? I'm in the wrong business.

Yup! Not just any Colnago fork - it's a TIME built Carbon Star, with a threaded alloy steerer.

It's probably a little nice for true 'lock it up on the street' commuter duties, but will be a much better option for taxi dodging, bunny hopping and shenanigans than a superlight Parlee that I can't afford to replace.
