What would I do about getting new stickers put on some 888 RC3 World Cups as a pair i'm looking at getting are pretty rough condition, perfect uppers and internals, just the lowers are a bit worse for wear. And i've heard wideopen do a bit of stuff like that?

Stickers for 888's (in fact most marzo forks)

Talk to GOOD LBS, get them to order in some stickers for Marzocchi's , fit stickers, enjoy

Cheers. Yeah, it seems any pair of 2nd forks i've seen have been scratched and garked to buggery, some RC3s i was looking at had patches back to the actual casting of the lowers, was nasty

Its weird how some people treat their bikes :eh:

Exactly like that. I mean, look at THIS. How can you let it get that bad? Almost like they dragged it through a rock garden behind them. :eh:

TBH, it looks like transport rash to me, rather than crashing, its hard to have a DH fork look great after a seasons use, even mine had some rash and I'm paranoid about transport and we don't have rocks up here (new lowers fixed it though)

Does anyone else hold off replacing their drivetrain until the end of winter?

That's just what I'm doing with my roadie. It'll have a new chain and cassette just before the start of PNP racing in Spring.

Not too much wisdom too impart from this one, but here's a bike I rebuilt early last week.

Pretty special bike, built for the reigning womens world road champ. Di2 is very impressive. It's rolling a pair of deep dish Dura Ace tubulars, whereas the zzyzx wheels were some team spares in the bike while the others were curing.

Very subtle arc en ciel on inside of fork and stay stay meets my approval.

I've got rings, cassette and chain all sitting looking very nice. But Auckland has decided to shit itself, probably for the next 4 months.

hot looking bike, shame about the name of the wheels, I could never ride anything branded ZZYZX, after the forks of the same name from the 90's

But hot bike all the same, how are you finding Di2 to work on?
