OK so I've been looking at Mopar porn ever since I found that lovely machine, and it has become apparent to me that something terrible happened to the collective minds of people in the year 1970.

OK, here we have exhibit A a 1969 Chrysler Super Bee 440, about as cool a car as it gets in my books. Look at the lines and proportions.

Vs a 1971 Super Bee 440, even has the same paint. WTF was going on at the start of the 70's, was it a mind destroying virus??

When I was a kid there was a dude, kinda old and he had one of those 70 Mopar coupés (maybe a 70/71 Charger) but green and it had a tow bar. And with that tow bar he towed a trailer with giant native NZ birds that he made out of chicken wire and some sort of plaster/cement.

Sometimes I think I'd like my HF back.

And then I remember how temperamental / unreliable it was. That when it was only 3 years out the box.

It had it's first rust bubbles when I sold it - saw it on the street a couple of years later riddled with rot.

Probably the most fun and most frustrating car I have ever owned.

I for one don't mind coopers long posts, some of them are interesting, people into cars and motorsport always ramble at length, its half of the point of it.
If it weren't for discussion this thread would just become 'Hey heres a picture of a green car with mags'
or 'Czechk out this cool Mopar' :p

And besides..peace and tolerance :)
