Good stuff, I think I may have seen you at the bottom as I biked past on my roadie :)

Cheers XCrazy. I thought I saw one of the roadies more interested in what's happening at the bottom of the Tip Track. :)

Ah, no. We slacked off work early, so were on the track at about 5:15. I vaguely toyed with a second run, in which case I'd probably have passed you on the way down. But yes, I was carrying lights. I should add that I was two minutes slower a month back, so am gradually getting stronger again. Swapping the Nevegals for Crossmarks for last night's run made a big difference I reckon.

Just did my first tip track of the "season". Rode up through Central Park, and battled the southerly down Happy Valley Rd. Despite my legs feeling a little fatigued from 300km over the weekend, and having a niggly little cold, I managed a 24:19, which I'm very pleased with. The track conditions were pretty much perfect. Simon started a couple of minutes after me, and finished... a couple of minutes after me (or thereabouts)! He took only a few seconds out of me as any good teammate should ;)

I'm looking forward to writing up the weekend's adventures this evening!

Anyone keen for a smash this evening? I'll be heading up around 6pm. Hope the southerly hangs round :sly:

I wish I can mono. Bike needs service and rider still recovering from a little back injury after Taupo-road. See you next time.

Next time Pesty.

I've managed to bribe Special Ed and Tiger Bronar into a smash up the hill.

I'll suffer, but it should be over quickly.

G2G is for chode huffers only.

Special Ed put about 20 seconds into me. I started about 20 seconds behind him and Tiger, caught Ed in the middle section before he finished 40 seconds before I did. It was cool at the top. Headed round Wrights Hill, then hit up Scout Hall and Goldmine.

Let me guess - this is the dustcloud thrown up by Mono chasing Ed up the track?
