Oh Yeah, So this happened. M/L chromag wideangle, 1° Angleset and 150mm forks for 66.5° static. 420mm chainstay and room for 2.7"rubber. Gone shorter reach 425mm over 450mm, NS was a heap of fun descending but found it quite uncomfortable on longer rides and not really fun unless pointing down.

Hmm. I built this a couple of weeks ago using all the bits from my broken bike. Weird how absolutely everything fitted over perfectly - threaded bb, same headset config, same seatpost dia.... Also weird how close it is your recent bikes Shmoo.
It's my fun bike until I solve my carbon wonderbike conundrums. Then I'll re-transfer various bits and adjust cable/hose lengths.

It was actually pretty average, was a good climber and fun jumper but it was very skittish and unstable descending so all the bits are back.on.the eccentric

Keeping the HT theme, but old skool.
Mostly same old thing, some parts change over time.
Just feeling stoked on it after a fun ride.

Back here now. 1x11 too. Thinking about a sunrace 11-46... ratios are much better spread than shimano.

Agree. Aside from the brakes (deores) it's the perfect spec. Right down to the 32t narrow-wide that I can remove and keep for my trailbike :D

You going to leave it chainless for park riding?
