After chatting to a couple of Vorbi, I thought it would be good to have a thread for showcasing suffering. Post your pain stories, pictures etc. Be it a crash, injury, or just a good old state you have run yourself into.

Why can't I find the muntage and carnage gallery?

Can't find any photos, Have had a few flesh wounds, one needing 2 stitches in my knee,
No broken bones , worst i've had is a couple of bruised sternums, and being knocked out once. I tent do break bike parts more than I break myself

Hmmm, not sure as just tried myself. Time for some up to date stuff anyway, with the addition of general suffering.

For some reason I seem to have a few of other people LOL.

This was one of mine though that needed surgery. As you can see the Collar bone is about an inch and a half higher on one end. Snapped both ligaments that hold it in place and tore the sleeve that holds the end down. First of all the doc said "Lets just leave if for a while, it might come back down by its self" 3 months later they operated.

I'll play. This hurt a bit.

Ouch, how long ago? are you back riding?

Been back riding for a month now. Nothing serious yet though, right arm doesn't really work properly yet.

Lucky you ride with your legs then. Good effort to be back on the bike though so soon, your hard..!

Fractured shoulder blade atm. No xrays unfortunately. But it is very uncomfortable

I have had the typical large grazes etc but only one really good crash springs to mind but all the injuries were internal and only some mild bruising on the outside so boring pics

Some of will recognize this rider straight away, we know him as the hard man that stacked it big time at Makara, was carted away in an ambulance and still managed to race the Oceania MTB's a week later. I present our very own local legend Gavin McCarthy. A big thanks to Ashley who witnessed this and did all the right things, including taking loads of photos along the way. Gav ended up with 5 stitches, 4 in his upper lip and one in his lower, a chipped tooth and some gravel graze on most of his front teeth Ouchhh!!
