The mighty Ute, with stoker bars and camping mat on the platform on the rack for a young passenger. Or older passengers from time to time :-) this is a really cruisy way to commute on the river bank, sitting up straight like a casual euro dude, no backpack, and I can shop on the way home.

I just read "giving someone a lift home on an (ordinary) carrier is part of the romantic life of many young people in Copenhagen".

Your carrier is the bike version of the back seat of a car. :D

That looks like fun on 2 wheels. Good job.

That's fine then, the purple ones never come off.

Beats me how they make the colour stick so well. It can't be anodised, that's just for aluminium.

Only when my meds wear off and the persona creeps in, Znomit. :paranoid:

And cheers Babs. Ends up that I am Auckland at least a week a month this year, so it just made sense. Taxis are a rip off, and the office up there has space. So it just makes sense. I use it to see friends around Akld, pop out and see Nordy and hubby etc. Good fun. And geared just right to get up College Hill (work and accom is Ponsnobby). Trouble is, that I SWEAR the Mongoose Maurice I have is faulty, as I can't do half the stuff on mine that Mr Ackrigg can on his! Defective?

Haven't had the courage to flip the back wheel around to fixed yet though!
