These results are from the 6Hr event held at Kaiteriteri MTB Park as part of the Kaiteriteri Weekender. It was a fantastic day enjoyed by all who attended. The date for the next 6Hr is April 16, 2016.

Nice one, will the midwinter 6 hour return to KTT or stay at Rabbit Island next year?

As an aside, what's the status on lower Jaws?

Nah, NMTBC want to continue to run the Breakout, so that will be at Rabbit Island. KMBP didn't feel a mid-winter 6Hr was a good fit with the way we want to use the Park, involve families and encourage people to come to Kaiteriteri for a w/e of mtb-related events. All good - you can now choose to do one, the other, or both :)

Funds from our 6Hr will help us get going again on Jaws 2, where our digger is languishing waiting for a new motor. Still encountering bedrock so hard to predict how long the final km will take. Best place to keep abreast of updates is our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/KaiteriteriMTBPark

Thanks for clearing that up.
Hope the fundraising went well, Jaws 2 is a very worthy cause! And the park in general is fine example of how to do it right, love taking the family over there

I heard a rumour there may be some grade 4 tracks coming..?

Cheers for that, mfw.

We feel we've pretty much catered for intermediate-grade riding now - esp. once Jaws is finished (although we do plan for a one-way intermediate track that parallels Easy Rider to get mtbers off the cycle trail).
So yes, the focus for the working bees now will be Advanced-grade tracks: more gravity, more roots 'n'drops :satan:

Awesome.
I had a great week at Bethany's campsite this summer, might have to sign up again for next year :D
I'd get up at 6-ish, knock out a lap of Corkscrew etc, then look into the tent (which I could see from from Revelation / bottom of Ziggy) and if no one was awake knock out another lap.
Then we would hit the beach, take the kids biking etc, a perfect family holiday
