Port Hills - Self Filmed

This video was shot for a self edit competition on Pinkbike, it had to be filmed edited and riden by yourself and under 1.20 in length.

Filmed in 1080i on my Panasonic HVX and nested in a 720p sequence for digital zoom/pan/tilt.

It's a lot harder to film yourself than I thought it would be, had a blast doing it though. These are my favorite spots on my local hill.

Yea had a good time doing this video. I think I'll do a few more of these over the season except maybe a bit longer, for the comp it had to be around a minute in length.

Nice one Toby - using the 1080 at cropped 720 for panning/zooming was always something I always thought would be really handy about having an HD camera.

Yea gives you 30% to zoom and still have HD resolution at the end of it all

I don't usually film in 1080 on my camera oddly enough but it worked a treat in this case.
