A little bit quicker on Kennedys yesterday afternoon.
I'll have to try and ride the last couple of hills this weekend.

What a stunning night, Major Aitken. I thought I was going well but someone blasted past me like I wasn't moving.

Yesterday I really wasn't moving when she blasted past. I broke a spoke at the bottom of the hill as she disappeared up the road.
It was probably a good thing, I wasn't going to get any where close to that sort of time up to the kiwi.

Beautiful day to get out on Boxing day :D Was probably still carrying a an extra kilo of Christmas pickings in my gut. Still, managed to shave some time off this years best up Dyers.

Getting out on the bike - best hangover cure eva!

Noel & myself went for a quick spin out to Halswell & up Kennedys this morning.

Managed to knock about a minute off my early season Kennedys time so hopefully that means I can make it round at least a couple of laps at the Tekapo 10 next weekend

Seeing as how the season is about to close and I'm busy next weekend I had to get out today to finish off my two least climbs. I've managed to avoid them all season.

Conditions where far from ideal, the wind was howling done the Gebbies valley. I think I might have just ducked under 10kph at one point, just trying to get to the start of the Bast'rd. Legs where stuffed before I got to the start. When I got the the top and I was sat on the roadside trying to recover, I must have looked close to death, because an SUV came past, stopped, reverse back up the hill and the lady stuck her head out the window and asked if I was okay  I lied and said I was fine.

Well done fraew, looks like a well earned title going to you tomorrow

I had great plans to do a last minute ride to try to shave off a couple of minutes from my total time to make you sweat :sneaky: but it ain't going to happen now.

Good work

I've been quietly comparing myself to the results and preparing for next summer. Times aren't the greatest but I'm dealing with a bung knee. I never imagined myself posting in this thread

Tick tock.

This evening is your last chance for any last minute sniper attacks :satan: on the leaders
