It's official - Dyers pass is 50% higher since the February earthquake!
I have conclusive proof, I rode up it for the first time this morning and my time was 50% slower!
So my 'new Dyers' time is 25:22 :D
I'm assuming everyone else is finding their times have increased too? :paranoid:
My internal Borg RPE was measuring biggerer and harderer to back it up too ;)

All my rides will be with my mtb...since that is all I own :)

Oh, and welcome on board mtb00m0d0m00m or whatever your name is, things are a lot quieter around here than they usually are, as many riders had their seasons blown out by the eq and are not enjoying a late season peak.
Btw, beware of using the MTB as an excuse as there have been some pretty keen MTB times recorded (look up Ahad's times from previous years) :satan:

Wooo - some fast times in there. Particularly impressive are Kwheels and his Gov-Dyers time. That's pretty swift. Murphyflair showing some good form too! :)

Some good motivation for everyone to get out there and give it one last shot before end of this board - 19 days to go!

19:46 for Mt. Pleasant and 12:27 for Evans-Mt. Pleasant, had to get some kind of times on the board before the end of the season.

Good to see some dribs and drabs coming in to finish the season even though the EQ's killed most of the competition.

Got to decide what to for next season, like I stated previously I am not going to run a leaderboard 'as such' at the start of next season. A few things to consider:
=} I could kick off a 'post your climbs' thread with the same climbs/info on the 'homepage', and the times could be sucked in to the web based leaderboard if/when I get around to it (the idea is that you would enter your times and it updates the board automatically).
=} There was talk of replacing seperate Gebbies and Bastard climbs with a combined Gebbies + bastard starting from the Teddington side
=} What to do with other climbs that are less accessible due to road closures...

Anyway, I was planning a 2 month off season so would not have to make final decisions until 1 Aug.
Discussion welcome

A couple of time just inside the cutoff to finish the season.
Did gebbies and bastard in the race today prob not best but had to do them back to back haha!
Did gebbies in 5:15 and Bastard in 14:06 giving a combined of 19:21. I think next season would be good idea to add the double then it makes it one of the longest climbs.
Thanks for a good season everyone has been heaps of fun!
