1 Rapaki - Bottom gate (end of seal) to top gate (summit rd).
2 Bowenvale East side (old Bowenvale singletrack) - from lower gate (opposite jumps) to summit rd (top of Huntsbury). Must include the new sections which are slower than the original (still open) track sections
3 Bowenvale West side starting from the end of Bowenvale Av (end of seal) to Victoria park top car park (summit road), choose your own route! Recommended route for newbies via 4WD tracks: Up valley track, right at double drop which takes you up steep section to a clearing, follow the main track around to left, this turns a bit rocky and snakes it's way up to the 40 footer area, take the right hand track which goes straight up steeply to the skidder site, then to the left there are various track options, take the main 4WD track that climbs steeply through the trees, this then rolls over to a small descent, keep right and go up a small climb to a large clearing, turn left at the clearing and head for a narrow cattlestop, then turn right to take the 4WD track that snakes it's way up to the summit road carpark to finish.
4 Worsleys - from flat section 110m past the bottom gate (natural drainage channel) to 5m before the top gate (when climb starts to shallow).
5 Crocodile/Kennedy's - From cattle stop at bottom of Crocodile to Summit road at the top of Kennedy's (right hand 4WD track where the track splits near the top).

A registered time has to be in neutral conditions, i.e. no tailwind.

Right, I know someof you can do better than this!
Some of mine are pretty old times.

Worsleys time = last years (Backyards) hillclimb race time + 30 sec (start was then part way up the hill if I remember rightly)

Good work mfw

Only one definite time for me at the moment... Rapaki = 14:12. Time to get the stop watch out for the others.

There are a lot of riders with times for many of these climbs from our hillclimb series so no excuses for not posting them up :p

Think all my times are posted on that hill climb series website somewhere. Did Kennedy's in 29m something. Can't remember the rest.

Added the 'hillclimb series' time offset calculations to the original post.

I think it's safe to sit Al in his usual position (at the top of the table), his combined climb 1 + 2 time in the race was 30:43 but don't know his splits.

Since riders Rapaki times seem to sit a bit under their road time to the kiwi, Al could potentially break the 15 min barrier these days..?

Possibly. That hillclimb time up Rapaki was done in a howling southerly (headwind), rain, and on a 1993 steel Diamondback apex with a cracked rear wheel & sneakers (no clip pedals)

Why does everyone keep thanking US? All we did was just spend YOUR money :D

If you have an idea for a project that the donation money from this summer's series can go towards please let us know.

I've added you to the table, I edit the table in the 'original post', which is easily accessable as it always sits at the top of page 1
