Yep, I'm NZsnaps... Starting doing insane slow shots at the drifting where the cars are really stable in one dimension... Shooting at 10mm however must help hugely with being able to keep it steady in the vertical plane. Great shot... Next time I'm out at the DH MTB I'm also goign to have a play with some very slow speeds.

And I don't know what's happened to the timestamps on the comments here... All at x 1 or x:31am or pm and out of order... Oh well.

Thanks for the comments guys. @_nemac; This one hasn't had that much post at all, I shoot in RAW so everything has to be converted, but this one just had some levels adjusted. Motion blur was captured by panning the camera. Thanks, Simon.

Hiya - Could I bother you for some shooting parameters? Love your work and I'm only now getting into the more creative side of sports shooting... Looks like about 1/125, F4-11 and maybe 24mm focal length?

TalkieT, you're NZSnaps right? Hows things? This was closer to 1/30th or 1/40th, 100ISO and just stopped down til I got the right exposure. This was at 10mm on an 30D, (so equiv 16mm on full frame)
