So have drivers now forgotten that it is against the law, or is this just happening in Chch where there is an "emergency situation" and lots of traffic which means that some arrogant people think they have the right to talk on their handheld phones while driving again?? One guys was in a red car that was sign written with SFWU and looked as if he could not work out why I was giving him the evil eye as I passed him.

I tthink the police are ignoring it very much like drink driving

Oooooooooh

People who talk on phones while driving are cunzors. Especially if they either nearly knock you off your bike or if they destroy a bike on the back of your car

It's an improvement. At least now they've got a (flimsy) excuse for how they do the typical subaru thing, overheat, leak tonnes of oil and stink like shit.
