I competed in a DH race in the weekend at Mt Erskine, Penang, Malaysia. Was a fairly easy track but was heaps of fun to ride.
22 jumps and high speed at the top.

Is that the hill with the cable car going up it?

If so the monkeys on the track up to the top freaked me out a bit when I walked up it many years ago

looks like a hickie friendly downhill course to!

looks like you had to brake a bit so you didnt overshoot some of those jumps and land on the take off of the next jump

No - wasn't near the cable car - we had to push up as there was no uplift access

There were two big "rollers" that required pre braking but alot of the course was brake-less. Nicely made jumps that flowed together (mostly..)

These are some of the prizes available - there were more prizes than there were competitors so everyone was guaranteed a prize.

I walked away with a new full face DH helmet!
