Simply put, it is a fantastic family race that appeals to all ages, abilities, genders and walks of life. Whatever level of rider you are, the Pass2Pub will provide you with a challenge.

If you want to go flat out it does require good fitness and technical skills. But if you want to make the Pass2Pub into a family adventure or a work mates challenge, anyone can complete the ride at a leisurely pace and it is not too physically demanding. You still need some fitness, but most people who know how to ride a bike can enjoy the thrill of competing and finishing.

And great news - it is mostly downhill – the race starts at Burkes Pass (545m above sea level) and ends at the Albury Pub (just 238m above sea level). Ok, there are a couple of moderate hills, but after all this is a mountain bike race.

Have not raced the pass to pub since it was the pub to pub back in about 93 or something. That was back before the Burkes Pass pub burnt down... In fact way back when it used to be raced in the other direction which is uphill

No plans to ride it at the moment...

Anybody going down Saturday afternoon or night that is willing to share accomodation please.
