Palmy And K-loop Car Break Ins. Watch Out For A Red Car...

Postby JXC on Wed 27/Sep/06 7:46am

While parked at the K-loop car park in Palmerston North yesterday afternoon (round 4:00pm), my car was broken into while a friend and I where out riding.
The bastards used a screwdriver wreaking my car in the process for a few crappy old items of little value to them but a real pain in the arse for me (phone, wallet etc) and a HR monitor.

We think we saw the car they where in so:
If you see a Faded Red old 4-door sedan (squareish shape), possibly an old corona out there stay with your car, or take the plate number so if anything does happen you can report the little buggers.

They also tried to get into another car parked there too, but only damaged the car.

Cheers,
Im off to the cops now to report it.

PS: can you lock out 021 phones? I have disabled my account but would make me feel better if I could shut the whole phone down?

man it sucks when you get your car ripped off.

Even if it isn't stuff thats hugely exspensive its just a hassle.

I had my car broken into (though not out there) and the fuckers stole all my CDs and my week old stereo.

Wish I could have caught them doing it. :satan:

I had my car stolen and a bunch of stuff ripped off from it. my dad told me I should go look at a certain spot. I decided not to. figured my chances werent that good of finding them... turns out thats where my car was found. to this day I wonder if I would have caught the buggers

LITTLE WANKERS!!
I was kind of nervous leaving my car there the first time too, but the only damage it got was from some random rooster that landed on my bonnet then slid down it while trying to scrounge a feed from me afterwards. Hope you have better luck catching these pricks than I had catching that damn chook! Everytime I've been back since I still look for him.

Ha ha, needed a laugh, Ill keep an eye out for him!

The cops said to let them know if I see the car again and the rego. so Keep an eye out guys (and girls) for the car described earlier and let me know, also they said to take the rego and report any cars that look dodgy.
May have to start riding from town.... ah man....

That last narrow part of the road out to K-Loop car park makes me nervous.
I'm allways expecting some uncaring "person" (probably in a faded red car) to be hooning around the blind corners in the oposite direction to me and there would be nothing you could do about it

there is nothing you can do about it when it happens. about 3 years ago my car was written off in that exact fashion

Bastards! I went out to K-loop at lunch one day and saw an old lady feeding that rooster, turns out it kept attacking all the other chickens back home and she had to let it go free! but since it couldnt fend for its self she has to feed it twice a week! damn thing attacked me as well.

Ill definatley keep my eyes open for that red car tho.
