Ouch - Graphic Mutilation - Be Warned

Postby slowMTB on Sat 12/Jul/08 8:08pm

Well it is not as bad as the title suggests. Was up Vic park yesterday and tracks were good. Did not realise it absolutely poured down last night - today tracks were wet and greasy. Coming down "Brents" - lost the front and went down. Managed to find the only log with a branch sticking out of it for at least a 5 metre radius - glove wrecked, hand a bit sore
7 stitches later :(

Any other hard luck stories this weekend ?

Yeh, I had an off on flying nun... first time I have crashed and hurt something for a long long time! I am blaming it on not being used to riding rigid!! Front wheel stopped on a rock and now I have a grazed elbow and a bruised knee...

Was a nice day up there tho... :)

No photos of the injury... but a nice photo from the top of the hill...

So who is it going to be next ? :paranoid:

With a lot of the "fun" tracks closed it was quite good to put some extra challenge into the normal tracks!! Obviously I was not up to the challenge tho... and damn my hands were pumped by the bottom of Vic park!!

Haha and after you telling me to be careful I still crashed in bridge track!!! There was a log over a very common place to ride that nobody removed. There were heaps of skid marks going into it but the log was still there!!!
