A note from Graeme:

Here is an elevation profile for the ride. Not perfect, you can see where the forest blocked the view of the sky. We did not ride over any 100 Metre cliffs. The GPS seems to guess a bit if there are not enough satellites in view for an accurate elevation measurement. Total climbing about 870 metres.
