He won all titles...he was 2.5 kgs lighter than last year...produced ave 30w more over 49 mins...same bike and set up... and according to someone the condition change was only 15 watts. So...please tell me why his time was only the same..given this information :-) The bottom line is irrespective of his power...he was fastest U23, but still 14 odd seconds behind Odlin. Maybe there were others who produced more power, but didnt go as fast. I know Clinton produces more watts than Michael..but is probably 10kgs heavier..and much bigger across the shoulders??
IMO its the trade off between power and aerodynamics..and getting that as right as possible. The most aero position wont necessarily produce the fastest time as power maybe compromised and vice versa...but hey...Im no scientist...just a thick coach hahaha
