Are we still digging tomorrow? I would imagine that it would be pretty wet up there right now?

Anything in the city will be within 10-20mins drive to get there.
Brooklyn is the closest suburb to the track.
There are a few back packers in the CBD.

Wooop... Traded in some airpoints for a flight there and have a motel booked... Now looking for generous offers of lifts to and from the event on Saturday evening and Sunday morning... (My Hotel is right beside the Basin Reserve)

More generous offers of pickup and dropoff to the airport would be appreciated too :-) Coming in Sat Morn and leaving Sun Arvo.

I'd probably trade lifts for a couple of free images...

Cheers - N

How is the track for a hardtail? The rock garden looks prety gnarly and I'm not a big fan of rockgardens.

We have a few younger club members (13-16) that ride the track on hardtails

Is there access to the cross country tracks via the downhill parking lot? Like, if my dad parks there, can he ride to cross country tracks? Also, can cars come in and out of long gully during the day or do they have to stay down there for the day.

There are no XC tracks in Long Gully Station (where the DH tracks are), but there are trils all around the area close by that he can ride.
There is an automatic gate at the entrance to Long Gully that will be cllosed - how ever, if you enter "8866" into the keypad (This code will only be valid for the weekend of the race) anyone can come and go as they please.
