Went with the Gemini Duo. Capital had some in stock so went down and had a chat about the two.

Wanted something for tomorrow so not interested in an online purchase.

anyone know somebody who can fix an old hope vision 2 (LED) in Wellie. I seem to recall seeing advice on vorb about someone with skills years ago, but no luck with search tool.

thanks in advance - sarcastic posts showing superior search skills also gratefully accepted...

Led lights are simple creatures unless the driver is fried.
What is wrong with your light?

It went from working fine to no life at all. I have four batteries for it and the charger claims they are all fully charged. Could be something simple with the cable, but have no knowledge or skills with these things.

Any tricks for ensuring plugs don't come apart? Happened to me today, maybe didn't have in properly but no fail safe.

If they're on long cords that are flexible enough, cross them and tie a simple hitch (first throw of a square knot) before plugging them in. Otherwise tape.

It's a 3 piece cord with an extension between the battery and lamp. I didn't have a cord management solution so just had the lamp and battery. Battery slid back on the top tube and came undone. Will sort something, was hoping there was some form of clip or something. Will have to use the extension cord if I was going to tape or tie.

Hopefully someone pipes up in your area. I'm a bit far away in the tron unless you get really stuck. Instant light out often points to a broken connection.
