Hi everyone from us here at Top of the South Events in Marlborough who bring you the Forrest GrapeRide. Just to let all you runners and walkers know that we have a fabulous new running event that incorporates a full and half marathon plus the add ons of 10km and 5km options. It takes in some of Marlborough's classic rural scenery that the region is so famous for and there are some great give aways and spot prizes up for grabs. Am I right in thinking the full marathon is a mix of off road and on road?

Hi there, yes there will be a little bit of off road surfaces but the majority of the marathon, like 32km will be on sealed road or concrete path. We will be posting some HD video of the course at approximately 5km marks with a bit of commentary to assist runners as to what the terrain looks like.
