But it vanished.

Time to build up a cruiser BMX with the 24" Junit I think. A pump track ruler.

Only holdup is you need a tapered head tube for the Junit forks.

Or some of your vaunted NOS parts hacking.

I guess the question is not where I can, but whether I should. :sneaky:

The Junit forks are built on Machete Boost chassis and to date Manitou haven't made a crown for those that will take a 1.125" straight steerer. Yes they could be modified but it's a time/money/liability thing.
If they were non-boost (10mm narrower crown) then I've got dozens of those crowns right here.

Because a 24" fork needs all the extra boost stiffness.
Oh, well.

Because all new forks are boost. The extra width means you can fit the bolt-on mudguards and means you can fit fatter tyres past the brake caliper.

Is it really getting closer if the photos are the same as they were on Tuesday? :eh:

So it gives you a rising spring rate but keeps the damper linear?

So it'll behave like a linear bike with an air shock with volume spacers in? I'm not sure I like that, I much prefer progressive linkages...

But this way the spring can overwhelm the damper on deep stroke rebound!

The Hayes Dominion brakes are the best brakes I've ever used by a long shot.

I tried to go back to my well bled, newish Saints, and yesterday I used some brand new codes. Almost vomited.

Power? Control? Why not both? Why not more of both than anything else? Dougal I'm really struggling to come to terms with the fact I need to send these back but I can't really afford to buy them off you.

Depends what you need. Here's a configurator: https://www.shockcraft.co.nz/hayes-brake-builder.html

Ouch, is that any less than the Trickstuff ones?
I guess if AgrAde is right on the feel then why not... Best in class is generally most spendy in class.
