What's the model? What crankset are you running?

ah, good point... Pipeline 770msl, with Raceface Turbine, and, in answer to my own question... Race Face 30mm BB92 Press Fit
Thanks. will be chasing you up when mine karks it..

Akshually. I think I can do a 30mm version of the Screw-Fit 41mm for our next variant. Might be 4-6 months away depending on manufacturing queues.

might (hopefully*) coincide with mine crapping out... Josh el booto will likely be in touch when the time comes  :D

Already got 3 different freehubs. What's another one matter?

Good to see them keeping a 2x option (612%). Still not beating the 22-30-40 to 11-40 XT 3x11 (660%). But 10T is not an efficient or smooth running gear.

My 3x10 setup (22-32-44 to 11-36) has 655%.

I want that silent Shimano hub. Too bad its bearings are incompatible with mud and ignorance.

This.
I used to keep Shimano hubs running smooth as silk, but current real life time constraints mean servicing things when they complain.

My Shimano XT hubs on my old CX bike have managed 3 seasons of CX and 4.5 years of commuting without a service and still feel smooth so yeah I think the sealing on higher-end Shimano hubs are pretty good

Colour me interested.

I was reading through all the marketing blurb about how the removal of a buzzing freewheel allows you to concentrate more on the riding. Hmm dunno about that.

But thinking about it, if I can hear more of what the front tyre is doing, that can only be a good thing can't it?

I just hope the damn thing works

I didn't realise I was using the sound of the tyres as a cue, then got a Hope hub and missed the noise.
Would go back to silent (especially to an Onyx or P321 instant engagement one).

Did I read somewhere that the new spline is going to be compatible with existing 240/350 hubs?

Yes, but not the silent drive, normal star ratchet etc.

Wait - are you telling me it was possible to improve from the HFX-9?

The HFX9 for some reason dropped power compared to the original Hayes Mags. I've got them both here. My Hayes Mag's are old enough to get into pubs now and still have great bite. Can still get original metallic pads for them, not sure about pistons.

The Dominion is the best brake I've ever ridden. Bar none.
