I remember watching the first ever episode in the TV shed at Blue Bay motor camp at Opoutama near Mahia.

That's scary stuff Velope.

There's nearly 18 year olds who have been alive for the whole time 18 year olds have been able to drink......

I remember going out for my "last illegal drink" befor my 20th birthday, and then when the age changed feeling sorry for all the people between 18 and 20 that missed out on that milestone.

Yeah same, I turned 20 in August 1999. Although it was easy to drink in Wellington before you were 20 as long as you stayed away from Courtney Place and even then it was more about what you were wearing than how good your ID was.

I certainly can't remember mine, but good chance it was Bar Bodega, Fish Bowl, Matterhorn, Southern Cross or something like that..... I guess Barney's too if we were drunk enough and raucous enough

I remember the looks we got when we went to one of the (or the) first R18 gigs in the country after they changed the age.
Shihad at the Parthenon.

Good times.

XT goes 4-pot

I first thought it was just a Zee caliper but they have slightly smaller pistons to shave weight.

they look the same from the outside
i've had a set of 8000 levers running on 820 calipers and lines for a while now, makes for a sweet set of stoppers.

It's not the caliper that are the issue with Shimano brakes...

When is Saint due for an overhaul? Was it released in 2012/3? How long do Shimano product cycles typically last?

I had a set of gen 1 Saint brakes that took over 8 years to die.
