yes the changed age thing seems like it could be a farce (kind of like the old split age system, when I was a first year at uni)

The new laws don't go far enough - it should be that anyone under 25 can't buy or drink booze.

Wuffy, an argument doesn't have to be some sort of confrontational/contrary outburst - it can be any proposition with some sort of truth value (amongst other things). Look again.

They don't seem to have a major under age drinking problem in Japan.
