Yes yes I did mean flawed haha
Um well considering everyone in my english class were expecting to fail, I passed both papers.....which will do. Our teacher was shite...you would'nt even call him a teacher cos he taught us nothing...we just had to make up stuff in the exam and hope that the marker would believe it, and all he did was tell us bullshit stories and tell us how useless we are and don't know how to sit exams!! Hahaha wouldn't happen to do with his lack of teaching, would it?? :)

Ncea Level 1 is probably the easiest thing I've ever done, you should be sweet.

I passed Ncea Level 3  ......4 years ago but I don't think we got this "merit endorsement" stuff then? Maybe I wasn't good enough

Haha hopefully it wont be too bad :)

Seriously though, the uni system must be more logical then NCEA?

Dont know, ncea was after my time. The uni system holds a mix of positive and negative (that's a rant for another time), the "fire" is the reality of paying for the decisions you're now making. And eventually, we all pay - you're never out of the system.

passed level one with excellence!! yuss.

and got in the top 3% in New Zealand for geo and some of english. :)

Happy with that.

What are peoples thoughts on the whole ncea thing, too hard? too easy? it seems strange to me that my mate can get way more excellences than me and get more credits but still get the same overall mark.....doesnt seem fair because he put in a lot more effort than me hahah im not complaining but hey

In some ways it's really easy....like the fact you can resit a unit standard until you pass, but in some ways its hard....like you can get all excellence, merit questions etc, but still fail because you didn't get enough achieved questions. I also think that some of the marking can be a bit harsh, and it annoys me when you get a paper with similar questions to previous years (maybe just with different data values) but you only get an achieved or something......it kinds of makes you think what the hell did I do wrong?(I pretty much got E in all previous years papers that I practiced in physics, so I knew how to answer the questions cos I had seen them before, but still only get A in the real exam grrrr) It also pisses me off that in harder subject you only get like 3 credits for something, but in a shitty unit standard like crossing the road you get like 10.
Just a little rant....disappointing with my results. :hmmm:

What is this "Merit endorsment" I'm reading about? I did NCEA Level 3 in 2005 and never had that? I also failed miserably
