Postby Mr_Bob on Thu 16/Oct/08 9:52pm

Mountain bike Tauranga presents:

* EVERY MONDAY evening in November ~ ALL WELCOME
* Wharepai Domain, (the sports field next to Hamilton St), from 6pm, through to about 8pm
* Categories for Kids, Men, Women, Singlespeed/fixed
* Any bikes and tyres are allowed, Helmets compulsory
* Build your fitness and skills, and have a great time in a casual and friendly atmosphere
* Racing will be run criterium style, on a course that will change from week to week. The lap will be 400-600m in length, and races will be run for 10 or 15 minutes (depending on category) plus a bell lap. Time permitting, you will get several races each night. The focus is on participation, so if you drop off the bunch, sit out a lap and join back on next time around.
* Gold coin entry, Chocolate fish to the winners.
* Brought to you by MTB Tauranga, with co-operation from the Tauranga City Council. If the demand is there we will keep the grasstrack racing going right through Summer.
