Mountain Bike Night or Twilight Racing - Bottle Lake Forest.

Dates: Wednesday nights - June 6th / 13th / 20th / 27th & July 4 / 11th

Where: Bottle Lake Forest Park, Burwood, Christchurch

Distance: Approx 20km

Cost: $10 per race

(no age category for S/Speed).

Entry: On the night. Registration is at the Information Centre, Carpark, Bottle Lake Forest.

Registration: 6pm to 6:50pm
Briefing: 6:50 pm
Start: 7.00 pm

Prizes: Good spot prizes on the night immediately after race finishes

Description:
Mountain Bike Night and Twilight Riding while for some is quite competitive, it is also very friendly and social, sort of like belonging to a Wednesday night club.

The course at Bottle Lake suits all levels of riders.

For Night Racing you will need a good set of lights (not needed for Twilight Racing), some warm gear and a small torch (just in case your lights fail).

So expect to increase your fitness level, riding skill, meet heaps of other mountain bikers and have some fun.

I have a job on late tonight. No chance to try out the new patented V bottle head lamp or take pics :/

Was going to head into a more technical area for some good shots. Stupidly last time I had to rely on the 4x4 lights, didn't think to take a torch.

Have a blast guys. Given the rest of the series is hard core racing I'll try and colate a heap of pics if I can.
