Nah, true luddites have 1 candle power. It's mounted inside a bake bean can.

I have an older Magicshine 500 candle power light and I find it's too much for some night rides. Kills your night vision.

Nah, true luddites have 1 candle power. It's mounted inside a bake bean can.

when batteries were 2kg bricks, yes, we put them in our packs. and had to unplug or keep helmet near pack when removing pack...

these days, when the battery packs are the equivalent size of 4 or 6 AAs, then strapping it to the back of the helmet makes perfect sense.
