Have a look in the 'unusual cars' thread in sifting Ive post a photo of one of my cars....currently 5 Minis in the shed and building a new one up now. going to be another 1380 running Honda 900 Boldor heads to give me a twin cam 16v set up which should be good for about 170bhp

how do you drive the cams? does having the pushrods smacking into the bottom of the head make for reliability problems? a Rolladoor engine is air cooled and a mini block is watercooled: that might be entertaining. What about piston/bore size and the squish and combustion chamber size? who makes pistons for this? what do you use for a crank?

fascinating. Got pix of your other one?

if anyone's interested.

We've got a 1980 Moto Guzzi Le Mans, Mk 2, for sale.
its been dressed as a Mk 1, and goes like the clappers. compression is insane. its dark dark kinda English racing green.

have just spent a shitload on it, with carbs, brakes, and forks all overhauled and finetuned.

wanting $8K firm. no time wasters.
probably gonna put it on Tardme, but are gonna be away from boxing day til after new year's, so am holding off. also, i'd prefer to try selling it through other avenues. any ideas?? will chuck it in the oldskool hardcopy Buy Sell Exchange too probably

if any of you motorcycling types are, or know of anybody, interested, pm me for a private viewing.

Also, we've got all the old fairing and light set up too.

We're in Chch.

Can't remember the website now, but there's a crowd in the UK who are making a conversion kit for the BMW K1200 head onto a mini block. Easily good for 170hp. Not too difficult to do, but beyond a standard shifters & screwdrivers home workshop. Quite a bit cheaper than a KAD 16V head as well.

they are called Specialist Component Ltd, problem is in NZ very few BMW K1200 came in so wrecked ones are hard to get for the parts, and to get the kit in from the UK is over 4500GBP!

The honda conversion is done by a guy in Aussie

its pretty trick!

Just had my last ride on the cagiva

Will spend the arvo cleaning her ready for the shop

Then it is just waiting, waiting, waiting for the ship to arrive with my new toy

For those of you who know the man I live with you will not be surprised at my quick turnover of bikes

noice.....I had to sell my Italian Stallion a couple of years ago....MV F4 with the carbon cans and gold wheels :(

I loved that bike and was my happy birthday to me 42nd ( or 21st again) pressie.....but SWMBO and I decided that a 300kmh superbike and my having a broken neck didn't fit well together......so I built a race car instead!

Gutting

I get to pick her up a week today and can't wait - she arrived at the store on the 23rd of Dec .... the waiting has been painful. The Wanganui races were fun viewing though!!!
