Comprehension fail

The most expensive spare part in our garage is him-with-whom-I-live's old Cromozone frame (complete with 5th Elephant)

but how much would we have to pay you to ride it ;)
 I'd build it up and ride it down the block for a couple of hundred grand. Any further than that the price rises exorbitantly.
You never know Mishy might grow into a 54cm frame. She is a 45cm now.

I used to keep at least one of all -

rear dérailleur
cassette
chain
chain rings
rotors
brake pads
cable kits
bleeding kits

... usually around $500 of spare stuff just waiting for it's day in the sun. Then a mortgage and baby happened, and most of the bits got used up without ever being replaced :(

Some atomlab trailking pedals, or fox Vanilla RLC forks would be the spendiest bits that arn't built upon something ridable.

never mind pricest whats the kitschest or saddest parts you still have. Mine is probably one of the original suspension seatposts....
