a $350, truvativ noir carbon riser bar, and a few spare s-works tyres, equating to similar value. Those would be the highest priced spare parts i have, alongside a whole bunch of lower ticket items like rotos, alloy bars, adaptors, full bottles of sealant, road tyres, pedals, etc

brand new pair of dura ace 9spd stis - purchased when my old ultegras were acting up, of course the moment I had spares the ults stopped playing silly buggers, and I see no point putting the da's on 'til they actually die

I had a custom wheelset handbuilt for me, ready 1 week prior to an event I was racing. Fitted them to bike, then went for a ride. Taco'ed the front in an act of mongery, and the combined cost of couriers, new rim, spokes, and assembly, etc came to something in the order of $300 from memory.
