Today is the day! The UCI Women's World Cup Wellington Race is happening. From 12.30pm the girls will be doing 20 laps of a fantastic circuit around the centre of Wellington - starting in Parliament grounds, along Lambton Quay-Willis St-up Boulcott St-onto the Terrace for a quick fang down to Bowen St-Tinakori Rd-down Hill st and repeat until chunks are blown!

This race is packed with Olympic riders, World Champions past and present, not to mention Sarah Ulmer and the NZ team, and I can't not mention the Wholly Bagels team, featuring yesterday's Oceania bronze medal winner, Wellington's own Robyn Wong.

There should be some fantastic racing over about 4 hours, so come on down and give them some support...remember, you're never far from a big breakfast or a coffee all around the course.
