How about a machine that takes a tiny sample and DNA tests every pea? Would they have to buy and use that?

Colour sensing machines have been around in food processing plants for ages. I remember seeing one for diced carrots back in the early 90s. big belt of diced carrot wizzing by, under a photo/sensor and little jets of air shot any cube that was the wrong colour into a separate bin. Pretty cool machines actually!!
